PARADISE LOST ME is A full length sonic fall from grace from Terminal 46.12 grinding, filthy tracks chronicling the trauma and demise of a lost generation.
PARADISE LOST ME released by Austin, Txs Terminal 46 and produced by Curse Mackey of the Evil Mothers, has already received airplay and written reviews in print media throughout the U.S.
TERMINAL 46 is a mind numbing experiment in brutality and self-destruction. A nitemare of electronic noise, corrosive guitar riffs, and multi-media visual mayhem. The lives shows are a force unequalled, a collision of dense blasting sound, hellish imagery, and flying debris. TERMINAL 46 is taking over as I speak. In two short years, the major media in their home town has reported on this entourage more than a dozen times, and have appeared in international magazines such as OUI (yes the porn mag), Skin Art, In the Flesh, Pop Culture Press, Tattoo Revue, Alternative Press, Industrial Nation, and Dark Angel.
TERMINAL 46 have appeared on the Ricki Lake show. And on Re-Constriction Records compilation entitled Operation Beatbox. TERMINAL 46 have appeared live with the likes of Thrill Kill Kult, Prong, Genitorturers, Life of Agony, Marilyn Manson, Christian Death, Course of Empire and Skrew to name a few.
TERMINAL 46 have also received national airplay on Z-rocks Wounded radio and are currently are in airplay rotation throughout Europe. TERMINAL 46 has won the Austin Music Awards the past two years in a row.
Arrythmic beats predominate, and occasionally, you can even make out what Wilson is singing; hes partially downgraded from blister-inducing buzzsaw shrieks to a more melliflous din. A kindler, gentler 46? Oh, yeah, sure. Those thousand points of light you see are just residual trauma from the banging your cerebral cortex is taking. Theres nothing fun or pretty about Paradise Lost Me, from the whiplash stop/go tempo of longtime live set favorite Descending to the Skinny Puppy-esque, reverb-o-storm of closer fuct. Its all a lovely, filthy headache, louder and more dangerous than before. -- ( Marc Savlov of the Austin Chronicle )
