WITCHTRAP (DVD) |
Tenney, Kevin |

A paranormal researcher is hired to photograph and exorcise the ghost so she brings in a team of experts consisting of a mental medium, psychic medium, video-tech and three rent-a-cops for protection. Things don't go as planned as the bloodthirsty warlock is up to his old tricks and uses his diabolical powers to kill again. WITHOUT WARNING (DVD) |
Clark, Greydon |
Two young teenage couples drive up to a lake to swim despite the warnings the receive from a local gas station owner. When one couple wanders off, their mutilated bodies are soon discovered by their friends hanging up in an abandoned shack. A bloodthirsty alien is in the area and hunting humans for sport using small round flying disc shaped creatures that attach themselves to their victims and drain their blood. The surviving couple escape from the woods and flee to town where they head to the local bar to try and get help. No one believes their story except an old vet who has also seen the alien hunter. He is convinced that it is the first stage of an invasion and that the two surviving teens may also be part of it. Now they must escape from the crazy vet and as well as elude the hunting alien if they are to survive. This creepy and atmospheric drive-in flick predates the "Predator" concept by seven years but seems to have more in common with a slasher film than typical science fiction. A packed cast includes Jack Palance, Martin Landau, David Caruso, and Kevin Peter Hall who plays the alien and is the same actor that actually went on to play The Predator years later.
