ISLAND OF THE LIVING DEAD (DVD) |
Mattei, Bruno |
A group of treasure hunters are in the process of raising a chest from sea when the bottom of it breaks and disperses its contents back into the sea. The crews bad luck continues when a freak storm of impenetrable fog envelops their boat and sweeps them to a mysterious, uncharted island. While the engineer tries to repair the damaged engine, the rest of the crew split up in to two groups to explore and find food and water. It isn't long before they come across the inhabitants of the island which are the living dead that are hungry for fresh human meat. Fascinating discoveries and horrible situations alternate between real and surreal events while the crew fights to stay alive. Bruno Mattei dusts of his Vincent Dawn pseudonym and returns to the genre that gave him his biggest hit (HELL OF THE LIVING DEAD) of his career. Back to his old tricks, he borrows from past zombie classics while adding his own touches like a kung-fu zombie fight, cartoon gore and his trademark hilarious dialogue. UNCUT and WIDESCREEN |

TOXIC ZOMBIES (DVD) |
McCrann, CHarles |
A group of hippies have a huge crop of weed growing up in the hills, but the Feds are aware of this and employ a local crop duster to go and spray a wack of weed killer on the illegal plants. This is no ordinary pesticide though, its an untested turbo DDT varient and the unsuspecting hippies get saturated with it. Covered in the dust, the hippies run around vomitting blood. Meanwhile the drunken crop duster gets out of his plane covered in the dust and pretty soon his wife falls victim to the chemical as well. Blood is the only thing that can quench the thirst of the infected victims, and its not long before the hippies and other toxic zombies spread the disease to more and more. This rare cult classic was made just after Dawn of the Dead and filmed outside Pittsburgh, the zombie capital of the world. Also known as Bloodeaters and Forest of Fear. Uncut From Japan. |

Materials from the zombie infested island were taken to a facility on another island and there has been no contact ever since. If the women helps guide the squad of mercenaries on their mission she will be rewarded with a comfortable place within the corporation.
